Teaching Packs
The teaching packs begin your class on the exciting journey of Maths with Numicon.
There are two packs for Numicon 1 - 6:
Geometry, Measurement and Statistics (GMS)
Number, Pattern & Algebra and Calculating (NPC)
Each year level includes:
Teaching Resource Handbook step-by-step activities with clear illustrations
- Real classroom experience.
- 'Low threshold, high ceiling' activities allow you to differentiate for every child in your class through the same activity group.
- Planning and printable photocopy masters included
Implementation Guide offers guidance on what Numicon is and advice on how best to implement Numicon in your classroom/home.
Explorer Progress Books ONLINE ONLY
- Assess individual children and monitor progress.
- Real-life contexts allow teachers to assess children's ability to apply their mathematical learning when faced with 'non-routine' problems.
- Concrete evidence of learning
- Supports the learning activities. Note: These are not workbooks to be given as an activity for learning.
