  • The Numicon Intervention Programme is applicable to any school interested in maths intervention for students in Years 2 - 4. The Intervention lasts 12-15 weeks, with 2 or 3 lessons a week, depending upon the student’s needs. The Numicon Intervention Programme is designed to be conducted by trained TAs and a supporting teacher. This course will help you get started in working with the Diagnostic Assessment, teaching sessions and relating to maths in the classroom and insights into why students struggle with maths. It is recommended that you purchase the NIP Handbook and subscription before the course and the attendance at an in-depth course that follows this. Handouts will be emailed to you.
