This in depth 12 - 15 week Intervention runs for 20 - 25 minutes per day in small groups. It has a diagnostic tool to ascertain the start point. Learners use manipulatives to communicate mathematically, generalise and explore relationships through explicit teaching, filling gaps they have missed with number structure, operations and early rational numbers. Teachers and Teacher Assistants will learn about how early misunderstandings can have a profound flow on effect with conceptual understandings and procedural fluency. A sequenced and scripted learning programme moves these students beyond Phase 1 and into Phase 2. There are two-course options. Follow the dropdown menu to make your selection.
