Auckland - Numicon Intervention Training

The Numicon Intervention Programme is suitable for all students in Years 1 - 3 who show consistent struggle with learning maths.

It is based on the Numicon Approach giving children a foundation of understanding the concepts covered in the updated curriculum for Years 0/1 in Number and Algebra.  These foundations provide a clear extension into Year 2.

Because it is a bespoke programme, the recommended length of 12 weeks can be adapted to the students you are working with. 

The Diagnostic Assessment tool reveals the deep reasons for the misunderstandings of each child.

The training will cover all aspects of the programme - selection of children, the Diagnostic tool, planning, assessment as well as why children struggle with Maths.
