We will practise using the Numicon equipment to represent mathematical ideas and promote explaining and justifying. We will look through the planning materials for Year 1, 2 and 3 (Firm Foundations- Numicon 2) to find the development of key mathematical knowledge through the step-by-step, explicit teaching steps.
