  • Big Ideas is an intervention/catch-up programme for students in Years 5 - 9. It is designed for a twelve-week block of support. The course will introduce you to the programme covering: The teaching activities, assessment, managing the programme in your school, and maths difficulties. The programme is written for teachers or TA's with a teacher to guide them. It is important that both the guiding teacher and the TA's attend if you are planning to use this programme with your students in this way. Margi is presenting this course. The course will cover the use of the resource, the maths concepts covered and insights into why students struggle with maths. Please have the Teaching Guide and Numicon manipulatives with you on the course.Handouts will be emailed to you.
