Manawatu: Using Numicon for Intervention

This is a full day course, introducing Breaking Barriers, Numicon Intervention Programme (NIP). You will learn how to use the programmes and assessments, how to individualise them for your students needs, and how to use the support Numicon apparatus. This course is suitable for those who work in education with students that struggle in maths and need support and those students who have learning needs - RTLBs, LSCs, T.As and Teachers. Any Teacher Aides supporting maths learning should be eligible for the Teacher Aide PLD pilot fund. Participants will get to use the Numicon equipment and a Maths Bag of resources to use on the course and back in class.
