ONLINE: Teaching Mathematics to students with High Learning Needs using Breaking Barriers

This course with Jo will show you how to support learners who are operating in Pre-level 1/ level 1 of the NZC and need 1-1 guidance. This course will be based on Numicon Breaking Barriers. You will learn how to use this programme and use equipment that encourages discovery, understanding and application of maths in everyday life. You will increase your own knowledge of mathematics. This course is suitable for a TA who is beginning their journey in working with students with High Learning Needs and those wanting to deepen their knowledge. There are two course options.
