Rotorua - Teacher Aide Introduction to Numicon Course

This course is an Introduction to Numicon particularly aimed at teacher aides who are working with students who struggle with maths.
The course covers why Maths is tricky to learn and teach, how Numicon helps children understand abstract concepts, using the Numicon equipment yourself, how to use the Breaking Barriers Teaching Handbook.

Participants will get to use the Numicon equipment.
They will also receive a Breaking Barriers Teaching Handbook and a Maths Bag of resources to use on the course and back in class.

Numicon is proving to be a huge success for all students as well as teachers.
