Numicon as an Intervention AND Implementing Numicon

This is a wonderful opportunity to explore Numicon and plan your implementation into your school, team, unit, or supporting class. Numicon makes maths really obvious and accessible to all learners. This course will give you an introduction to all three intervention programmes: Breaking Barriers (BB) for students with high needs, Numicon Intervention programme (NIP) for students who are behind and Big Ideas (BI) for older students who are behind in their curriculum expectations. Following this condensed course you will know which course to run with your students and have more knowledge as to why they struggle with maths. Book early to allow for handouts to be sent to you. Have your resources nearby if you have them. You will take away with you a resource pack to use in your classroom.
